We're reflecting the feeling of newness that comes with the spring season in our Vegan Tipples' catalogue with lots of fabulous new editions to our esteemed catalogue. Here we present some of our absolute favourites!

We've organised the 2025 Vegan Tipples' Wine Tasting dates and hope you can book in to join us for one of these.

And finally, for World Malbec Day, we present to you, of course, our Malbec selection, perfect for those glorious spring evenings!  May we wish you all a very Happy Easter, and, of course "Happy Drinking!"

Spring Box

Our ever-popular seasonal Mixed Box of wine is here for Spring 2025! An outstanding mixed case of six bottles - white, red and fizz! All for just £57.

Our seasonal boxes are always lovingly curated by Vegan Tipples Founder and Director, Susan Hunt, with a vision in mind of supplying exceptional vegan wine at great value! And this season's offering delivers just that. All our mixed boxes come with detailed tasting notes, helping you to get the very best from your wines.

Let's take a look at what's inside:

Perelada Stars Cava Brut: "Delicate pink in colour. Bright and limpid. Its fine bubbles detach, forming a crown on the surface. Its aroma is clean, floral and fruity, long lasting and elegant. Complex on the palate, fruity, smooth, silky, with excellent balance."

Indomita, Costa Vera Sauvignon Blanc: "A wonderfully fresh and fruity Chardonnay, golden in colour, full of delicious, ripe tropical fruit like banana and pineapple and a lively, zesty, refreshing feel."

Mont Rocher Viognier: "Enticingly aromatic with characteristic exotic stone fruit and honeysuckle, this dawn-picked Viognier is rich yet refreshingly dry."

Umbrele Pinot Rosé, Vilie Timisului: "The nose is full of summer fruit aromas, strawberry, blueberry, and the palate is light, crisp and refreshing with notes of raspberry and cranberry."

Mabis Biscardo Pinot Grigio Rosé: "An ambrosial nose of wonderful floral aromas, on the palate there’s an abundance of tropical fruit, melon, guava and peach supported by zippy acidity making it mouth-tinglingly moreish. A light and refreshing wine for any occasion."

Alasia Barbera 2023: "A fresh, juicy red with aromas of raspberries, plums and cherries. These characters follow through to the palate, along with soft tannins and a savoury spiciness. Refreshing acidity on the finish."

New Wines

We're currently working hard tasting the very best vegan wines from around the world to ensure our fine Vegan Tipples' catalogue always includes the best of the best!

Last month we introduced you to two fantastic new wines we added from Paul Hobbs, Crossbarn Chardonnay and Crossbarn Pinot Noir. (Links below to find out more about these outstanding and very special wines!)

This month we're putting a spotlight on some more of our newbies, including an amazing new alcohol free wine, which is literally flying off of the shelves since we introduced it!

Nooh Still Rosé N/V:
Named Nooh, a combination of "No" for those who don't want alcohol and the chemical symbol for the alcohol molecule "OH"

Château La Coste sits within a landscape steeped in the rich history of its Provençal setting. The original bastide was established in 1682 but it has existed as a domaine since the Roman times, with an agricultural and winemaking tradition marked by the land, evident in the presence of dry stone walls, bridges and wells. The grapes were taken from a number of vineyards with varying soil types all sourced from growers that have long-standing partnerships with the winery. The most prominent soils are deep clay-limestone.

Using La Coste’s Rosé d’Une Nuit organic cuvée as the base wine, alcohol was then extracted via vacuum distillation.
"A brightly aromatic nose, combining watermelon, citrus and rose floral characters with a hint of jasmine. The taste brings forward more melon and strawberry flavours with a zingy tang of grapefruit on the finish." £19.99

Domaine Francois Crochet, Sancerre, Chêne Marchand, Loire, France, 2022
Just a few kilometres to the west of the town of Sancerre, and just a little to the south, lies the tiny commune of Bué, and it is here that you will find François Crochet and most of his vines.

The son of a vigneron, François took over the estate in 1998 and together with his wife Carine works 10.5 hectares of vines, encompassing all three of the principle Sancerre terroirs. François Crochet is an innovative winemaker with experience far beyond Sancerre. Although well travelled, having spent time in New Zealand, his heart is in Bué and here he produces his own distinctive style of this classic wine. Now a victim of his own success, François cannot keep up with demand, making only limited, hand-crafted quantities. These wines are some of the most precise and refined Sancerre around; intensely flavoured with crisp, refreshing acidity and great length.
The crisp acidity and minerality make this wine a perfect pairing with risotto: "A very fresh, pure and aromatic wine. This Sancerre is complex and concentrated with gooseberry, blackcurrant leaf and hints of honey overlaid with minerality and held tightly by a core of acidity. The finish is elegant and long with flint and ripe apple leaving a lasting impression." £37.99

If rosé is your preferred tipple, then say hello to another stunning wine from François Crochet:

Domaine Francois Crochet, Sancerre Rosé, Loire, France, 2023
This bottle accompanies Moroccan tajines and spicy Asian fayre very well: "A beautiful pale salmon pink colour, you will find very fine notes of fresh red fruits on the nose which is continued on the well balanced palate." £24.95

The perfect vegan Easter gift!
We still have our Mother's Day gift bag available and hey, being vegans we're all about sustainability - so we're repurposing this as a perfect vegan Easter treat, to gift to yourself or to somebody you like very much! Inside the gift bag you will find three of our favourite wines, ready to present in a gift bag. Each Easter gift bag is priced at £39.50 and will include:

La Vie En Rose, Cinsault Rose, IGP Pays D'OC, Languedoc, France, 2023

"La Vie en Rose is a beautifully elegant wine with packaging to match. A lovely pink rose petal colour. A very fresh nose deliciously scented with raspberry aromas. Complex and tasty in the mouth with notes of cherry and grenadine. and a fleeting brush of subtle, spicy wood, this is a supremely balanced, savoury food-friendly wine."

Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Rose 2022

"The aromas of rose petals and red berries dominate the nose and reveal its red grape origins. The mousse is fine and enthusiastic and brings out the floral and yeasty aromas in the mouth. A mouthfilling roundness on the palate shows ample fresh fruit intensity and body which is perfectly balanced by a subtle acid structure that leads to a crisp and refreshing dry finish."

Painted Wolf Wines 'The Den' Chenin Blanc 2024

"Fresh lemon and pear aromas give way to tropical passion fruit on the nose. Crisp acidity and a hint of oak add to the texture and wonderful fruit flavours linger on the palate. Exceptional value."

Easter recommendations...

Here we present the perfect vegan wines to serve alongside your Easter feast!

Stift Klosterneuburg Klostersekt

With its elegant mousseux the Klostersekt can be enjoyed as an Aperitif or accompanies starters or desserts excellently. "This sparkling classic is characterized by a clear, fresh and fruity aroma of apples and limes on the nose. Due to a yeast contact of at least nine months the Klostersekt displays an harmonious aroma expression on the palate." £16.99

Bouchié Chatellier, Pouilly Fumé, Argile á S, Loire, France, 2023

As with most whites from this region, this pairs well with mushroom dishes, risottos and vegan sausages with red wine sauce: "This is a fresh and beautifully aromatic, mineral and fruity Pouilly Fumé, which is elegant and has plenty of length and a full body." £25.99

Our next choice is perfect to enjoy just before Easter, on World Malbec Day, which is 17 April!

Stone's Throw Malbec 2023

This Malbec is great with rich and hearty food, so it will wash down a delicious vegan roast on Easter Sunday very nicely indeed! "A dark, aromatic Malbec with succulent and spicy characters. Darkly appealing, chocolatey with an abundance of crisp, minerally fruit and Morello cherry compote." £12.49
