Summer Box

The sizzling new Summer Box has landed, and we think it's one of the best boxes we've offered yet!

Our seasonal boxes are always lovingly curated by Vegan Tipples Founder and Director, Susan Hunt, with a vision in mind of supplying exceptional vegan wine at great value! And this season's offering delivers just that. All our mixed boxes come with detailed tasting notes, helping you to get the very best from your wines.

Brimming with sunshine-filled gorgeousness, it has everything you need to accompany alfresco dining!

Here’s what you’ll receive:
☀️Perelada Cava Brut 11%
Its generous stream of fine bubbles forms a perfect crown. On the nose it is clean, with fruity notes and marked ageing notes. Dry, smooth and complex in the mouth, it has superb balance.

☀️Deer Point Chardonnay 12%
Chardonnay grapes are processed under anaerobic conditions and the juice is fermented in cool conditions in stainless steel to preserve the fresh, vibrant fruit character.

☀️Gatito Loco Blanco Organic
Clean and crisp, intense yet fresh, the stone fruit, peachy notes are supported by tropical passion fruit and mango with citrus undertones.

☀️Bella Modella Pinot Grigio Rose 11%
This delicate rosé has deliciously strawberry laced aromas followed by a seductive palate of crisp, juicy, creamy fruit. Ideal sipped chilled on a summer’s day or coupled with lightly spicy foods.

☀️Alasia Barbera 13%
A fresh, juicy red with aromas of raspberries, plums and cherries. These characters follow through to the palate, along with soft tannins and a savoury spiciness. Refreshing acidity on the finish.

☀️Stones Throw Malbec 14%
A dark, aromatic Malbec with succulent and spicy characters. Darkly appealing, chocolatey with an abundance of crisp, minerally fruit and Morello cherry compote.

August is the perfect month to turn our attention to rosé wines. So continuing the rosé reverie from last month’s newsletter, here's some more of our rosé recommendations...
Produttori Di Manduria, Aka, IGT, Puglia, Italy, 2024

In the heel of Italy, Manduria is considered the birth place of the native Primitivo grape, and was officially recognised as such in the 1970s when a DOC was created for the region. However Produttori di Manduria had been making wines for 40 years by then, unashamedly proud of their deep affection for Primitivo.

This gorgeous wine is from grapes harvested, in the second half of August, from 20- to 40-year-old espalier trained vines: "Deep coral pink in colour. Clean and attractive on the nose which is packed full of ripe cherries, pomegranate, red apple, and wild strawberry and raspberry. Fresh and juicy on the palates with crunchy cherry fruit and a hint of salinity."  £14.99

Simonsig Chenin Blanc/Pinotage Rosé 2023

Right from the beginning, Simonsig had been owned by the Malan family. For over 300 years, the generations have passed on their knowledge and skills onto the next family generation, whilst the younger one always further develops the wines. It is exactly this fact - the traditional estate still being in the hands of one family - that makes the wines so special. In 1971, Simonsig was founder members of the first wine route in South Africa for gourmets worldwide who can now discover the most magnificent delicacies of the country.

"The Chenin provides melon and stone fruit, and the Pinotage red berries and watermelon. This is fruity, structured and perfect for summer evening drinking."  £12.99

Oddbird No Alcohol Sparkling Rosé, Languedoc Roussillon, France

Moa Gürbüzer founded Oddbird in 2013 to question and change societies norms around alcohol and offer a quality alternative … liberated from alcohol.

Creating modern, world-class wines with zero alcohol is a skill, shaped by tradition and made possible through innovation. Achieving the distinct pure taste with high complexity doesn’t just happen. It involves a wine-making process with minimal intervention and relentless attention to every detail. From the choice of grapes and vineyard site, to fermentation, alcohol removal and bottling … a vision towards transforming drinking culture with quality in mind! Made from grapes grown on the stony clay-limestone soils of the Languedoc.

This is a wine to enjoy with soft vegan cheese: "Silky, well-balanced and rather dry sparkling rosé from the Languedoc -Roussillon region of France. The sparkling rosé is made from a lively blend of Chardonnay & Syrah which creates tones of summer berries, green apples and citrus. All-natural colour. The sparkling rosé is matured for 12 months before being gently liberated from alcohol.  £13.25

New wine alert!

Fabulous new award-winning range of zero alcohol wines, at a great price!

We're delighted to present our Natureo trilogy! Each bottle is just £7.99, representing incredible value for the quality of the zero alcohol wines within.

From its origins as winegrowers in 1870, Familia Torres has managed to combine tradition and innovation with the aim of making premium wine and brandy, always with the utmost respect for the environment. Rooted in the Penedès near Barcelona for more than three centuries, Familia Torres historically has wineries and vineyards in the Penedès and other Spanish iconic regions, as well as Chile and California.

That’s why Torres wanted to be the first ones to create high-quality dealcoholized wines. Which has allowed them, after lots of research, to lie on the cutting edge of the market.

They have won an award this year - Best international producer of non-alcoholic wines at Mundus Vini Non Alcoholic 2025!

Let's find out more...

Natureo Grenache – Syrah 2022

This is perfect with vegan pasta dishes: "This wine is a lovely cherry colour with aromas of pomegranate and redcurrant. Full, clean and balanced on the palate, there's smooth texture and delicate freshness."

Natureo Muscat 2023

This white wine is fantastic enjoyed as an appetiser and alongside rice dishes, thanks to its smooth, fresh and lightly citrus taste: "Straw yellow. Delicate fruit aroma (Golden Delicious apple). Smooth, luscious, but fresh on the palate with a sensual nuance reminiscent of quince jam."

Natureo Rosado Cabernet Sauvignon – Syrah 2023

A rosé to enjoy alongside tapas, vegetables dishes and light pastas: "Berry aromas and soft fruit flavours."

Wine days worth celebrating...
We always like to keep an eye on the wine-based calendar to take every opportunity to celebrate great wine!

August is a busy month in the world of wine. On 4 August we raise a glass to National White Wine Day, on 18 August it is International Pinot Noir Day and on 30 August it is International Cabernet Day!

Our White Wine recommendation for 4 August is:

Simonsig 'Starting Blocks' Chenin Blanc, 2024.

Here's a wine ready to be enjoyed with creamy vegan dishes: "Aromas of golden delicious apples, pears and a light floral touch. The palate is brimming with honeyed tropical fruit salad flavours."  £11.25

Our International Pinot Noir Day recommendation, for 18 August, is...

Paparuda Pinot Noir

This is delicious to enjoy alongside a vegan roast or a summertime stew: "Fruity, rich and potent, with layers of ripe black cherry, raspberry and cinnamon. Deep, with pretty fruitcake and spicy aromatics. Lingering aftertaste."  £10.49

Finally, to round off the month of August, on 30th of the month we can all raise a glass to Cabernet! Our International Cabernet Day recommendation is:

Cartlidge and Browne, Cabernet Sauvignon, North Coast, USA, 2021

This pairs well with a range of foods for summer and winter alike: "This Cabernet starts out with rich, delicious red fruits on the nose that flows into cherry, watermelon, candied plum and crème brûlée. The soft, yet fine, tannins have notes of coffee, rose petals and wet slate."  £18.75
