Enticingly aromatic with characteristic exotic stone fruit and honeysuckle, this dawn-picked Viognier is rich yet refreshingly dry.

This over delivers! It is textured with delicious honey, citrus fruits and ripe pears on the palate as well as the nose. The finish is clean and refreshing and deliciously Pinot Grigio.
☀️Solara Rose 11.5%
Strawberry and red fruits, crisp fresh and fruity with notes of rasberry on the palate.

☀️Baglio Gibellina Organic Nero D'Avola 13%
Deep ruby-red and violet flecks. Intense nose of pomegranate and wild strawberries and hints of red berry fruits. Soft and velvety, full bodied with smooth and sweet tannins.

Villa Wolf Gewurztraminer, 2024

Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rose, 2025

Perfect for holiday meals and days full of sunshine: "It is light and refreshing, with deliciously bright berry and red fruit flavours and a clean, zippy finish,"  £13.25

Seasonal recommendations.......

These amazing wines from Heilan Coo are something very special indeed. Perfect to be enjoyed al fresco!

Heilan Coo, Shiraz Mataro 2025
Perfect to enjoy alongside your favourite vegan barbecue dishes: "A really expressive, bright, contemporary Aussie red. The nose of soft, open, chocolatey fruit has a clove note with a palate of fresh brambly, cherry-red fruit that leads to a gently spicy finish."  £13.75

Heilan Coo, Grenache Blanc 2022 Here's a wine to enjoy with creamy pasta dishes, tapas with aioli sauce and also satay sauce: "There are few finer things than finding a cultivar that not only belongs in modern South Africa but is so phenomenally tasty – its delicately pithy otherness is hard to describe but let’s have a go. On the nose it has a curious apothecary of rare botanicals including lemon peel, juniper, jasmine and guava. These can also be found on the palate supported by the grape’s inherently pithy acidity, longevity and structure."  £13.75

Cocktail of the month!

Island Dark Rum Old Fashioned

Use our much-loved Barra Rum to make this delightful seasonal cocktail (click link below to order).

60ml of Island Dark Scottish Rum
7.5ml Demerara syrup (or simple syrup)
2 dashes of orange bitters
1 large ice cube

Place a large ice cube into a chilled rocks glass.  Pour in all ingredients and stir well until properly chilled and diluted.  Add a cherry and a twist of orange peel to garnish. Sit back and enjoy!

Edinburgh Fringe........

We're so excited to once again host our fun-size 1 hour wine tastings throughout August as part of the Edinburgh Fringe. These 'taster tastings' easily fit in to your festival schedule. But there's still enough time to enjoy tasting four wines and improve your wine knowledge while you're at it! You'll receive a top up of your favourite wine at the end.  These tastings take place in the heart of historic Edinburgh, very close to Edinburgh bus station and Edinburgh Waverley train station.

Various dates throughout August at 4-5pm or 6-7pm. Just £20 per person.
