November Newsletter

We know that this year in particular people are looking to stock up a little earlier for their Christmas goodies, so we’re very happy to present our new Christmas Boxes.  We’re also looking forward to Beaujolais Nouveau Day on 18 November and hope to bring you ways to help you if you’re new to veganism and making your Veg Pledge this month, by enjoying your 100% vegan wines, beers and spirits!

World Vegan Day - 1 November

As COP26 gets underway and the focus of the world turns to the hugely important subject of climate change, there has perhaps never been such an important time to celebrate being Vegan on World Vegan Day.

As many of you will be aware, it has been said by Oxford University’s Joseph Poore that: “A vegan diet is probably the single biggest way to reduce your impact on planet Earth.”  Turning to a diet without meat and dairy brings about greater benefits to the world than simply reducing the flights you take or switching to an electric vehicle.  So now is the time to feel proud about how your lifestyle is contributing to part of the solution for global climate change.

At Vegan Tipples we are passionate about ensuring that all of the wines, beers and spirits we sell are 100% vegan and come from producers who have the environment around them at the heart of their business too.

Veg Pledge 2021...
Cancer Research UK are this year organising the Veg Pledge 2021, where people can challenge themselves to go vegetarian for the month of November to raise money for the charity.  This is a great opportunity for people to think about their diets and start to make important changes towards helping the plight of animals, helping the planet and helping themselves too.

If you are taking part in the Veg Pledge and are new to the idea of eliminating animals or animal products from your diet, we welcome you here and encourage you to also think about how animal products can be found in the majority of alcoholic drinks found in the supermarkets.  These products often contain casein (a milk protein), albumin (egg whites), gelatine (animal protein) and isinglass (fish bladder protein) in the fining process.  Here at Vegan Tipples we ensure that all of the drinks we sell are 100% vegan and do not contain any animal products at all.

Why not try one of our mixed cases or wine to start your journey into enjoying some of our finest vegan wines?  Each of the cases come with tasting notes to help you enjoy and learn about the wines.
To ensure you’re not disappointed and can choose from the full range of fine vegan wines, beers and spirits #VeganTipples has to offer, please do get your Christmas orders in as early as possible.

Delivery is free anywhere within a 10 mile radius of Edinburgh and is just £7.99 anywhere else in the UK (with some exceptions).
