About
Finca Bacara is a winery built in the ancient arid vineyards of Jumilla in the southeast of Spain. The vines survive extreme drought and searing temperatures. The labels are striking, telling a story of creativity and a link to the land.
Founded in 2016, Finca Bacara is a project born from the persistence of the owners with the purpose of transmitting the best expression of wines and old Monastrell vines, to acknowledge the climate, soil, and surrounding who witness our growth throughout the time being. They elaborate the wines with minimal intervention and process the grapes with extra care. Which turn each grape into wines in the most natural and artisanal way possible.

‘True beauty begins inside’, said the world. Yet, people are judged today by the outer appearance more than inner beauty. We realized the same happens with wine. Wines are judged by their outsides, but what is most important is what is on the inside. We designed the wine label as a tribute to what lies within. - Tasting Notes:
Intense ripe red fruit (blackberry, cherries in liquor) accompanied by spicy and balsamic aromas, scrub, leather and liquorice. On the palate it is a well-structured wine, very elegant and expressive. Soft and velvety, with elegant and harmonious tannin, warm but balanced wine with a fair and refreshing acidity, well integrated and with a persistent and intense finish.
