About
Domaine Boyar was the first private wine-producing company created afer the fall of the communist regime in Bulgaria in 1989. It started operating in 1991 and over the course of several years, thanks to its dedicated winemaking team and access to quality native and international grapes, it became the most significant player of Bulgarian wine on the international market.
The mineral-rich plains of the Thracian Lowlands are home to wild deer that freely roam amongst the peach trees and vineyards. Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are processed under anaerobic conditions and the juice is fermented in cool conditions in stainless steel to preserve the fresh, juicy fruit character.
