Valpolicella Classico Ripasso `Campolieti` Righetti 2023
About
Located in the heart of Valpolicella, Righetti is a small, family owned estate which has been producing wine since 1999. Gian Maria is the fifth generation of the family to take over the winemaking and, using local grapes Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, produce wines which reflect the great winemaking traditions of the area.
Unlike other Valpolicellas, Luigi Righetti’s are fermented over the lees of the previous year’s Amarone, giving them a unique depth and rich dried berry flavors. The Campolieti Valpolicella Classico Ripasso is a great example of this. “Campolieti” means “happy fields,” reflecting both the joy the Righetti family takes in cultivating the vineyard and the delight many customers experience upon their first taste of this Ripasso Valpolicella
