Mago Petrič's family's winery is located in Vipavska Dolina and from the very beginning, they have worked organically and biodynamically, devoting their energies to local grape varieties and respecting the natural environment around them. Concentrating on the varieties of Zelen and Pinela which are only grown in this region and nowhere else on the planet, they have built a unique proposition. Everything is hand picked, naturally fermented and then bottled unfiltered with just a minimal sulphur addition, creating wines that are delicate, mineral and full of freshness. Viticulture- The vinyards of Preske and Pile are situated 300- 450 meters above the sea level and the terraced vineyards face south. The vines age of from 8-22 years. The soil is neolic flish- marine sediments. The vineyards of Preske and Pile are treated organically and from the beginning of 2011 are completely biodynamic. Winemaking- Hand harvested biodynamicly produced grapes. A six-hour maceration of crushed grapes, spontaneous fermentation with natural yeast. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Nine-month maturation of the wine on the lees in stainless steel tanks. Bottling according to Maria Thun moon calendar with minimal addition of sulphur. No oak treatment.

Light green colour with yellow hues, brilliant. Strongly expressed varietal characteristics. An aroma of Mediterranean herbs - bay, rosemary, thyme – combined with fruity and floral notes. A delicate, mineral wine with just the right balance of freshness and smoothness.
